Suzuki is probably best known for it’s fabulous range of motorbikes! However, it has always questioned accepted automobile design and produced an outstanding range of stylish cars that offer great value.
The company began trading in 1909 and has steadily expanded. In 1952 it marketed the first motorized “power free” bicycle and in 1955 Suzuki introduced its first car – powered by a tiny 360cc engine.
As well as becoming famous for its motorbikes and 4WD vehicles, Suzuki also has expertise in all terrain vehicles, cars, vans and marine engines.
In the 1990s, Suzuki made a big impression with the groundbreaking 4x4 Vitara. In 1997 Suzuki sold 15,000 vehicles in the UK. Today, with an expanded range of niche cars, this figure has more than doubled.
